ToggleMeet Jetson Thor
NVIDIA® Jetson Thor™ is NVIDIA’s most powerful edge AI platform yet, built on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture for robotics, multi-camera vision and running large AI models on the device, and choosing the right Jetson Thor carrier is key to getting the most out of it. The family includes two modules available today, with the Jetson T3000 and T2000 coming in Q1 2027:
- Jetson T5000: up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS of AI performance, 128GB memory, 40–130W
- Jetson T4000: up to 1200 FP4 TFLOPS of AI performance, 64GB memory, 40–70W
Not every project needs the most powerful module. The T4000 is a good fit when you need reliable performance at a lower price and power budget.
Connect Tech offers two carriers for Jetson Thor: the compact, rugged Rogue-T5 and the full-featured Gauntlet. Both support the T5000 and T4000. With a T5000 module, either carrier also lets you start T3000 development now in emulation mode, so your software is ready when T3000 ships. CTai LABS, part of Connect Tech, can help move T5000 projects to the T3000.
If you’re working with earlier Jetson modules, see our carrier guides for Jetson AGX Orin and Jetson Orin NX.
The Connect Tech Thor Carrier Family
The Rogue-T5 packs Thor’s high-speed interfaces into a small board with locking connectors throughout. It’s a good fit for robots and vehicles where space is tight and shock and vibration are a concern. The Gauntlet gives you the most I/O. It adds a second NVMe slot, cellular, more Ethernet and wide-range power input, which suits deployed systems that need storage, connectivity, and flexibility.
If you plan to use the T4000 module, note that on the Gauntlet it supports one 10GbE port and no CAN. See T5000 vs. T4000 below.

Both carriers support the Jetson Thor T5000 and T4000 modules. The Rogue-T5 was designed after the T4000 was announced, so all of its I/O works with either module. On the Gauntlet, two interfaces change with the T4000:
| Rogue-T5 + T5000 | Rogue-T5 + T4000 | Gauntlet + T5000 | Gauntlet + T4000 | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10GbE | 2 ports | 2 ports | 2 ports | 1 port |
| Other Ethernet | 1x 2.5GbE | 1x 2.5GbE | 2x 1GbE | 2x 1GbE |
| CAN | 4x CAN 2.0b | 4x CAN 2.0b | 4x CAN FD | Not available |
Both modules run the same NVIDIA software stack, including JetPack, CUDA, Isaac ROS and Metropolis. That means you can start with one module and switch to the other later without redesigning your system. Connect Tech provides a Linux support package (BSP) for both carriers, with the drivers and tools you need to get up and running quickly. If you’re already using a Rogue carrier with Jetson AGX Orin, the Rogue-T5 is a natural next step.
